Blackfriars is located in a 13th-century friary in the centre of Newcastle, believed to be the oldest purpose dining room in the UK. Today it serves a seasonal, gutsy menu which has earned it the title of Taste of the North East.

Sunday 9.30am-4pm
Hinnies closes on most bank holidays including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Easter Monday, May and August bank holidays but is open Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
