Welcome to Hinnies, our relaxed and friendly neighbourhood restaurant nestled right on the Whitley Bay seafront, just a stone’s throw from Spanish City. We serve hearty, comforting Geordie-inspired dishes made with fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Our menus include options for a variety of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and adaptable dishes for allergies wherever possible.

At Hinnies, we’re proud to offer a welcoming, down-to-earth dining experience for everyone. While our venue is not fully wheelchair accessible due to structural limitations, we’ve made thoughtful provisions wherever practically possible. 

We understand that a comfortable dining experience goes beyond physical access, our friendly team is always happy to assist-whether that’s reading through the menu aloud or providing a large-print version with prior notice.

The nearest car park is located just 100 metres to the north, right along the coast between Hinnies and Spanish City.
